Aquarium Visit

On Friday we visited the aquarium. We had  been learning about the ocean and animals that live in the ocean all week. It was so wonderful to see the things we had been learning about alive and moving in the tanks. The children had a great time watching the sea lion performance, underwater show and otter greeting. They also enjoyed wandering around the aquarium and looking into all the different tanks. It was such a fantastic day!

Healthy Teeth

Last week we learnt about the importance of healthy teeth. We read books about going to the dentist and talked about food that is good for our teeth and food that is not good for our teeth. We practiced brushing our teeth and learn that brushing in small circles is better than long hard strokes. We also learnt we should rinse our mouths out after we have cleaned our teeth. Here are some photos of us practicing!

Christmas Party

We had such a lovely last day of school before Christmas Break. Our Moms and Dads came to visit and we played games with them, read books and played in Drama Corner with nativity sets. We also shared a special morning tea together, before we performed at the Christmas Production. Thanks Moms and Dads for sharing the day with us.

Fire Station Field Trip

Yesterday we went on our first field trip to the local Fire Station. It was wonderful! We were split into three groups and were able to look at 4 different things at the Fire Station. They showed us the tools firemen use, the inside of an ambulance and fire truck and the inside offices and living area that the firemen use when they are on duty. We had so much fun learning about Fire Safety.
